1 tbsp dried parsley

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions; drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, cook Italian sausage (or ground beef) over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat.

-
In a medium bowl, combine cottage cheese, softened cream cheese, sour cream, beaten egg, and dried parsley until smooth.

Spread a thin layer of meat sauce in the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish. Layer 4 cooked noodles over the sauce.
-
Spread 1/3 of the cheese mixture over noodles. Top with 1/3 of the meat sauce, then a layer of mozzarella slices.
-
Repeat layers two more times, ending with mozzarella. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
-
Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
-
Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
