Description

A luscious and flavorful garlic sauce made with butter, garlic, and Italian herbs, finished with creamy half-and-half or heavy cream. Perfect to drizzle over pasta, chicken, or vegetables for an easy, elegant touch.


Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 3 garlic cloves, grated

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • 1 cup chicken broth or stock

  • 1 cup half-and-half or heavy cream, warmed


Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.

  • Add grated garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant, but not browned.

  • Stir in Italian seasoning.

  • Pour in chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.

  • Reduce heat to low and slowly whisk in the warmed half-and-half or heavy cream.

  • Cook, stirring frequently, until sauce thickens slightly, about 3–5 minutes.

  • Season with salt and pepper to taste (optional).

 

  • Serve immediately over your favorite dish.

Notes

Use freshly grated garlic for the best flavor.

Warm the cream beforehand to prevent curdling.

Can be made dairy-free by substituting coconut cream and vegetable broth.

Adjust thickness by simmering longer or adding a cornstarch slurry.
