Description

This indulgent dip combines the creamy richness of cream cheese with the smoky heat of paprika, the aromatic warmth of garlic, and a touch of sweetness from hot honey. It’s the perfect appetizer to serve with crackers, crostini, or fresh veggies.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ounces Monterey Jack cheese, shredded

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • 3 tablespoons hot honey

  • Crackers, crostini, or veggies for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded Monterey Jack cheese, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and salt.

  • Spread the cheese mixture evenly into a small baking dish.

  • Bake for 15 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbling.

  • Remove from the oven and drizzle hot honey evenly over the top.

  • Serve warm with crackers, crostini, or fresh veggies for dipping.

Notes

Adjust the amount of hot honey based on your desired level of sweetness and heat.

For a spicier kick, consider adding a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes to the cheese mixture before baking.

This dip can be made ahead by assembling the cheese mixture in the baking dish, covering, and refrigerating. Bake just before serving.
