Description

Ingredients

  • ½ cup dried dandelion root pieces

  • 45 ribbons orange zest (from organic orange)

  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger, sliced

  • 750 ml vodka (80100 proof, neutral flavor preferred)


Instructions

  1. Prep the Jar

    • Use a clean 1-liter glass jar with a tight-sealing lid.

  2. Combine Ingredients

    • Add dandelion root, orange zest, and ginger slices to the jar.

    • Pour vodka over the ingredients, covering completely.

  3. Infuse

    • Seal jar tightly. Store in a cool, dark place for 3–4 weeks.

    • Shake the jar gently every 1–2 days.

  4. Strain & Bottle

    • After infusion, strain through cheesecloth or a fine mesh sieve.
