Description

Sweet, juicy, and slightly smoky, this Grilled Pineapple recipe brings out the natural sugars of fresh pineapple with a buttery glaze, a touch of honey, and a subtle kick of spice. It’s the perfect summer side dish, BBQ topper, or healthy dessert—ready in minutes and guaranteed to impress!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 fresh pineapple – peeled, cored, and cut into 1-inch rings

  • 3 tablespoons melted butter

  • ¼ teaspoon honey

  • 1 dash hot pepper sauce

  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, honey, hot pepper sauce, and a pinch of salt.

  3. Brush each pineapple ring with the butter mixture on both sides.

  4. Place the pineapple rings on the grill and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, or until grill marks appear and the fruit is slightly caramelized.

  5. Remove from the grill and serve warm, either on their own or as a topping for burgers, grilled meats, or desserts like ice cream.

Notes

For a smoky-sweet flavor, sprinkle a bit of brown sugar on the pineapple before grilling.

This recipe also works great with pineapple spears or chunks skewered for kabobs.

Can be made in a grill pan indoors if an outdoor grill isn’t available.

A squeeze of lime over the top adds a fresh, zesty finish.
