Description

A creamy, no-bake dessert that combines the classic flavors of banana pudding with a light, fluffy texture. This easy-to-make treat is perfect for potlucks, picnics, or any occasion that calls for a sweet, comforting dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box (3.4 oz) instant vanilla or banana pudding mix (sugar-free optional)

  • 1 cup nonfat milk

  • 1 container (8 oz) Cool Whip (sugar-free optional)

  • 3 cups mini marshmallows

  • 3 cups Vanilla Wafers, broken into pieces

  • 3 medium bananas, sliced

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and cold milk until smooth. Let it sit for 3 minutes to thicken.

  • Gently fold in the Cool Whip until the mixture is well combined and fluffy.

  • Add the mini marshmallows, broken Vanilla Wafers, and sliced bananas to the bowl. Gently stir to incorporate all ingredients.

  • Serve immediately for a crunchier texture, or refrigerate for 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld and the wafers to soften.

Notes

For a lighter version, use sugar-free pudding mix and Cool Whip.

To prevent the bananas from browning, toss them in a bit of lemon juice before adding to the mixture.

This dessert is best enjoyed the same day it’s made to maintain the freshness of the bananas and the crunchiness of the wafers.
