Description

A refreshing, creamy dip combining the coolness of cucumbers with a blend of savory herbs and spices. Perfect for pairing with fresh vegetables, crackers, or as a spread on sandwiches.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 1 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 tablespoon dried minced onion

  • 2 tablespoons dried parsley

  • 2 teaspoons dried dill weed

  • 2 teaspoons Beau Monde™ seasoning

  • ¼ teaspoon seasoning salt

  • ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, combine sour cream and mayonnaise until smooth.

  2. Add the dried minced onion, dried parsley, dried dill weed, Beau Monde seasoning, seasoning salt, and ground black pepper.

  3. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.

  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld.

  5. Serve chilled with sliced cucumbers, crackers, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

For a spicier kick, consider adding a pinch of cayenne pepper or a dash of hot sauce.

The dip can be made a day ahead to enhance flavor.

If Beau Monde seasoning is unavailable, a homemade blend of equal parts celery salt, onion powder, and sugar can be used as a substitute.
