Description

A fresh and satisfying twist on the classic BLT, featuring crispy bacon, crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and creamy mayonnaise, all nestled in toasted sub rolls. Perfect for a quick lunch or casual dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs thick-cut bacon (e.g., Wright Brand)

  • ½ head of lettuce, thinly sliced

  • 2–3 Roma tomatoes, diced

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise (e.g., Duke’s Mayo)

  • 1–2 teaspoons Blackstone Essential Blend Seasoning

  • 4 sub rolls

Instructions

  • Cook the bacon in a cold skillet over medium heat, flipping every 3–4 minutes until crispy. Alternatively, bake the bacon on a foil-lined pan in a cold oven set to 425°F (220°C) for about 15 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

  • Toast the sub rolls in a skillet or under the broiler until golden brown.

  • In a large bowl, combine the thinly sliced lettuce, diced tomatoes, and mayonnaise. Toss to coat evenly.

  • Chop the cooked bacon into bite-sized pieces and add to the bowl. Sprinkle with Blackstone Essential Blend Seasoning and toss again.

  • Fill each toasted sub roll with the chopped BLT mixture. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Adjust the amount of mayonnaise and seasoning to taste.

For added flavor, consider using flavored mayonnaise or adding a dash of hot sauce.

Ensure the bacon is crispy to provide the best texture contrast with the creamy filling.
