Description

A creamy, cheesy one-pan pasta dish loaded with savory ground beef, garlic, tomato paste, and melty mozzarella—ready in just 25 minutes. The ultimate comfort food that’s quick to prepare and perfect for busy weeknights!


Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked penne pasta

  • 1 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • ½ tsp ground black pepper

  • 2 Tbsp minced garlic

  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes

  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 2 Tbsp tomato paste

  • 1 small white onion, chopped

  • 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning

  • Salt, to taste

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese


Instructions

  • Cook penne 1 minute less than package directions; reserve ½ cup pasta water.

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat; brown the ground beef. Season with salt and pepper.

  • Add garlic, onion, red pepper flakes, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, and ½ cup pasta water. Stir and simmer for 8–10 minutes.

  • Mix in the pasta and 1 cup mozzarella cheese.

 

  • Top with remaining cheese, cover, and let sit for ~5 minutes until cheese melts.
