Ingredients

3 cups cooked penne pasta

1 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

1 lb ground beef

½ tsp ground black pepper

2 Tbsp minced garlic

1 tsp red pepper flakes

1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

2 Tbsp tomato paste

1 small white onion, chopped

1 Tbsp Italian seasoning

Salt, to taste

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions

Cook penne 1 minute less than package directions; reserve ½ cup pasta water.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat; brown the ground beef. Season with salt and pepper.

Add garlic, onion, red pepper flakes, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, and ½ cup pasta water. Stir and simmer for 8–10 minutes.

Mix in the pasta and 1 cup mozzarella cheese.

Top with remaining cheese, cover, and let sit for ~5 minutes until cheese melts.
