Description
These whimsical Carrot Patch Brownies feature a classic, fudgy brownie base topped with chocolate frosting, “dirt” of mini chocolate chips, and playful carrot-shaped icing—perfect for Easter, spring gatherings, or any time you want a festive treat!
Ingredients
Brownies

2 sticks (16 Tbsp) unsalted butter, cut into small pieces

2 cups granulated sugar

1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

2 tsp vanilla extract

½ tsp salt

4 large eggs
-
1 cup all-purpose flour

1 oz chocolate syrup
Decoration

1½ cups mini chocolate chips

1 cup chocolate frosting
-
1 cup white frosting
-
Orange & green food coloring
-
Green edible grass or green rope candy (for carrot tops)

Piping tips #12 (carrot) & #233 (grass)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 325 °F (163 °C). Line an 8×8″ pan with parchment or foil.

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine butter, sugar, and cocoa. Heat 30 s, stir, then another 30 s. Let cool slightly.

Stir in vanilla, salt, then eggs until smooth.

Fold in flour, then chocolate syrup.

Pour into pan and bake 30–45 min or until set. Cool completely.

Frost with chocolate icing, then press on mini chips as “dirt.”

Tint white frosting: 10 Tbsp orange, 6 Tbsp green.

Pipe 2–3 carrots per brownie using #12 tip, then add grass details with #233 tip.

Add candy/grass carrot tops.
Notes
Allow brownies to cool fully before decorating to prevent melting
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 3–4 days, or refrigerate up to a week.
